MODEL ARABIAN JUDGES LICENSE:

The "A" Test:

AMAHA offers a Model Arabian Judge’s "A" License. The License is granted after an applicant passes a written exam covering biomechanics, equine anatomy, and Arabian breed type. Shows judged by one of our Licensed Judges are worth more points than other comparable shows. Any member of the club may take the exam for a small fee, which covers copying costs and postage. A publication offered by the club, A Guide to Arabian Conformation and Type, can help a person prepare for the Judge’s Test, but it is not necessary to purchase the book before taking the exam, nor is it necessary to take the exam at all. The test is just offered to those who are interested in making a more intense study of conformation, biomechanics, and the Arabian breed. More information about the test and our publications are available from Shannon Tostanoski for a SASE, and are also periodically printed in the DHR.

Cheryl Flood is now administering the "A" test. Please contact her for for information about the test, or to take the test.
