RULES FOR NOMINATION:

Starting in 2003, if you participate in Pedigree Assignment, to register your horse in the AMAHA as a National Show Horse, it must be the offspring of either an AMAHA (Arabian or NSH) or IPABRA (Saddlebred) NSH Nominated Sire.

For the purposes of the AMAHA National Show Horse Program, a National Show Horse is:

• Arab x Saddlebred
• Arab x NSH

Shannon Tostanoski will be running the AMAHA NSH Sire Nomination program. If you want to nominate a stallion to the NSH program, please provide the following info: Stallion’s Name, Breed, Color, Sire x Dam, Year Foaled, Make/Finish, Your Address, email Address, and Website address.

The fee to nominate your sire is $1.00 per stallion. However, if your stallion is already nominated with the IPABRA NSH Nomination Program, the fee is $.50. By keeping the fee high, we are hoping that only the best stallions will be chosen to be NSH Sires.

• e-mail (or snail mail) certificate stating your stallion has received a lifetime AMAHA NSH Sire Status.
• Full AMAHA NSH Sire Status advertising rights on your s/d list and website.
• Listing in the AMAHA Stud Book and on the website as a NSH Sire
• Eligibility to compete for AMAHA Top Ten NSH Sire of the Year

The top ten NSH Sires with foals earning the most points throughout the show year will receive a special award. To have your horse considered for NSH Top Ten Sire of the Year, you must submit the points for his foals to the Pointkeeper. To do this, once you have totaled up your foal’s points for the year, provide the Pointkeeper with a list of each sire’s foals (including registration number) and their point totals.
