The American Model Arabian Horse Association is proud to announce that we are compiling information for the next edition of the AMAHA Stud Book.
All owners of breeding Pure and Part-bred Arabian Stallions and Mares are invited to submit your registered horses for our exciting new publication. Two types of entries are available; a Regular Entry and a Premier Entry.
Regular Entry: Free for members ($.50 for non-members); will include the following: Name, Registry Number, Type, Age, Color, Gender, a 4-Generation Pedigree, Breeding Dates and information,
as well as any notable AMAHA Awards*.(Please see item 7)
Premier Entry: $1.00 per horse; will include the same information in a Regular Entry as well as a color photo of your horse, show records, and offspring records.
The Stud Book will be in alphabetical order by Purebred and Part-bred, then by gender.
The 2005 Edition is available as a Paper Production for $14.00 (140+ pgs). Please add $3.85 for Priority Shipping or a USPS Priority Stamp.
RULES:
1. Horses MUST be registered with AMAHA. (Pending registrations are accepted as well.) Non-member owners may submit their registered horses.
2. Horses must be breeding Pure/Part-bred Stallions and Mares.
3. Geldings that have breeding dates before being gelded are allowed,
but must include dates available.
4. Horses must be realistically pedigreed, with at least 4-generations back with real and/or model horses.
5. Show Records: Please only include Champion and Reserve Champion placings, with the show name and date.
6. Offspring Record: Please only include the foals name, registry number (if applicable), and special awards, i.e. live show champion, photo show champion, ect.
7. *AMAHA Notable Awards include: Register of Merit, Legion of Merit, AMAHA Champion, AMAHA Supreme Champion, AMAHA Hall of Fame, Year End Awards (YEA’s will automatically be entered).
8. Please include if your stallion is a NSH nominated sire.
Photos can be submitted by regular (snail) mail. You must include a SASE and enough postage to return your photo(s). NO POSTAGE DUE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Photos may also be submitted by email in .jpeg (.jpg) format please, or direct Heather to your website and she can upload from there.
All Premier and Regular Entries will remain in the Studbook for the life of your horse, or until you request to remove the entry.
Entrants: Please submit your farm name, address, email and/or a website.
Studbook Editor reserves the right to edit all submissions.
